First Look At The Awake NY x Reebok Instapump Fury Proto

First Look At The Awake NY x Reebok Instapump Fury Proto

Awake NY, after releasing their highly praised ASICS collaboration only last year, has never stopped the momentum in terms of their collaborations; just recently, they revived a Timberland signature with luxe textures while impressing with workwear essentials in tandem with institution Carhartt — on the sneaker front, however, there’s been little to no noise up until now. Ostensibly playing off their teased Reebok Workout revealed a few months prior, the streetwear imprint is continuing to explore the brand’s large repertoire of classics, now dressing the beloved Instapump Fury Proto in the same palette as the aforementioned low profile trainer. Vibrant neons seat the inflating panels, weaving atop a base of black mesh fabrications; toe caps, then, stamp with a much sturdier leather piece in complement, with the same being said for the midsole coloring of fluorescent green. Light blues intermingle just adjacent, finding place at the icy appearance of the tread as well as the classic Reebok branding whose placement at the heel is sublimated over with “AWAKE” in their bold lettering. Grab a first look at the pair here and expect to hear more about its release very soon.
