This Upcoming Air Jordan 4 Is Inspired By The Air Max 95

Not often do we see Air Jordans crossing over into the Air Max realm, especially if the latter model wasn’t designed by Tinker Hatfield. Dropping this March 21st is a special edition Air Jordan 4 Retro inspired by the Air Max 95, the Sergio Lozano design that took the world by storm back in ’95 and several times over. The construction remains true to Tinker’s ’89 model, but the trademark gradient effect of the runner is achieved via suede layers that lighten from black to white from the outsole to the inner lining. Even the heel back-tab is covered in high-vis reflective layer, while the roped laces further establish the hybrid concept of the release. See a first look at the grade school pair here and get caught up on our Jordan 2020 release dates guide to see what else is dropping from now til then.
