White still outfits the base of the sturdy leather construction but the classic red fills in the overlays more widespread: the toe cap, eye stay, swoosh, heel wrap, and all of the above turn the silhouette into something brand new — hence the aforementioned dubbing. This is most apparent in the model’s follow-up whose likeness flips the script on the “Banned” to subtly play on its obscured appearance in photos far back.
