The Nike Zoom Streak Lite Is Available In “Aloe Verde”

Within the BEAMS anthology, many a collaboration and store exclusive fills up the pages, but a new year means new partnerships and one of the first is from none other than Nike proper. Often joined by New Balance and fellow runners, the imprint is going for a slightly different direction this time around, preferring the low profile stance of the newly revived Zoom Streak Lite. Near identical to its 1995 counterpart construction-wise, the pair arranges suede fixtures atop a base of textural mesh — hits of a complementing pink then accent in between the lines with an overlaid swoosh contrasting by way of black shade. Elsewhere, the tongue prints with boldfaced Japanese lettering, translating to “Speed” in further nod to its performance roots. Grab a detailed look at the pair here, and if you’re interesting in grabbing a set, they’ll be releasing on January 27th at the BEAMS Harajuku location.

Update: The Nike Zoom Streak Lite is available now.
