While much of the recent Nike SB talk has been related to the pair Travis Scott debuted in his “JACKBOYS” music video, Beaverton is gradually steering the conversation towards other silhouettes in its skateboarding division with the help of forthcoming Paul Rodriguez x Nike SB Dunk High and Poets x Nike SB Bruin Low releases. One name that has quietly been fueling the SB division is Stefan Janoski, whose signature shoe has taken the world of skate and casual footwear by storm since 2009. This low-top shoe has been the canvas for many artistic approaches, with a turquoise outfit designed by Desiree Castillo as part of the 2019’s Doernbecher Freestyle and now in a similar eye-catching tribal-style pattern. Sitting atop a vulcanized outsole, lightweight canvas goes from toe to heel in a medley of teal and pink. Black also takes over laces and side Swooshes while serving as the backdrop for the pink Janoski branding on the tongue. A much more vibrant hue of the “Watermelon” color adorns the rubber outsole, adding some more flair to your kicks as you try to emulate Janoski’s casual style.
