Although the Nike Air Max 90‘s milestone 30th anniversary has come to a close, the silhouette is slated to have an impressive 2021 as it continues to emerge in a mix of timeless and experimental arrangements. For its latest proposition, Tinker Hatfield’s design has opted for another tally in the latter group.
Akin to most of the silhouette’s most understated, but versatile options, the forthcoming pair predominantly indulges in a “White” scheme complemented by hits of “Bone,” grey and vibrant blue. The pair’s base and most of its overlays favor a leather construction, but TPU accents maintain their standard positioning. Profile swooshes and panels around the collar, however, don’t only deviate with their material makeups, but also their aesthetic, donning miniature stars and chainlink patterns, respectively. As with previously-seen options from NIKE, Inc., it’s possible this kid’s Air Max option nods to the streetball scenes of places like Harlem, NY. Underfoot, sole units forgo any motifs, but feature stark blue contrast throughout the tread.
Official Nike.com release details are unknown, but this Air Max 90 is likely to launch in the first half of 2021. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair here below.
