Nike Adds Orange Iridescent Panels To The Air Max 98

Nike continues to outfit its Air Max 98 with impressive colorways and its latest styling seems to borrow from its copper/teal iteration from earlier this year. Given that much of its construction – from visible Air unit to mudguards and textile upper – dons a bland white look, its features deviating from the clean design are that much more striking. The overlays sitting right above the mudguard are given an iridescent finish that wraps the ’98 silhouette in muted bronze around the toe, medial midfoot, and heel, but morphs into an orange/yellow/grey medley precisely where small Swoosh branding – found in white with orange lining on this iteration – typically sits. A similar citrus hue decorates branding on the toe box and tongue, while varying in shades at the lace stays, back panel stitching, and heel tab.
