The Iconic White and Black adidas Superstar Combine Into One Split-Colored Release

The Iconic White and Black adidas Superstar Combine Into One Split-Colored Release

Ahead of its official 50th Anniversary, the adidas Superstar has done its best Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde impression with this split-colored iteration combining its two most iconic colorways. The off-white rubber shell-toe is sandwiched by black leather on the medial side and white leather on the lateral side on both shoes in this pair. Three Stripes branding follows suit in this divided design, sporting a classic black look on the white half while opting for a clean white on the black half. The only detail deviating from this monochrome color scheme is the gold-finished adidas Trefoil mark on the tongue.

There’s no telling what the next 50 years have in store for the Superstar, but we’re likely to see the classic silhouette reimagined with more notable colorways and materials. Until then, you can pick up a pair of these split-colored shell-toes now via Premier for $80 USD.
