Still an integral part of the Three Stripes team, Dennis Busenitz, with a massive repertoire of signature silhouettes behind him, has been relatively hush throughout the better part of 2019, though with no better a time than during the gradual rise of adidas Skateboarding, it’s a welcome sight to see yet another release at the very beginning of the new decade. Dubbed the Busenitz Vulc II, the silhouette’s newest is not marked solely by two strikes, rather, it plays heavily with the construction, making what the brand touts as “meticulous edits.” With durability and maximum performance at its core, the pair — whose inaugural coloring is relatively neutral in dark navy, gold-accented logo hits and paneling, as well as subtle support caps of a neon orange — embellishes with Geofit collars and a molded adiPRENE sock liners; more subtle features elsewhere further both stability and durability by way of a reinforced outsole, Adituff toe box, and rubber heel clip while the single panel toe cap more so nods to past designs, the original Busenitz specifically. Grab a detailed look at these right here, and if you’re interested in grabbing a set, they’ll be releasing at adidas.com and select shops come January 1st.
