Kawhi Leonard’s New Balance OMN1S “Money Stacks” Arrives on December 26th

Kawhi Leonard’s New Balance OMN1S “Money Stacks” Arrives on December 26th

Kawhi Leonard’s blockbuster decision to join the Los Angeles Clippers this past summer earned him a whopping $130 million dollar max contract. While many of us aren’t rolling around in as many Benjamins as the two-time champion, he’s aiming to spread his wealth through his signature footwear with this upcoming “Money Stacks” colorway of his New Balance OMN1S. Bankroll themes inspired by a concept that Leonard himself came up whilst working with NB’s Creative Design Manager Jonathan Grondin are heavily employed throughout the upper. From its olive/forest greens to its lighter beige overlays present around the ankle/midsoles, the palette is designed to mirror elements of a dollar bill. Carried over from the previous “City of Angels” makeover arrives the mid-foot strap which in this case, rids of its “City Edition” Old English fonts for a blank canvas that instead acts as a rubber band. These OMN1S will see its on-court debut at this year’s NBA Battle of LA Christmas showdown between the Clippers and Lakers, and will receive its official release to the public on December 26th on New Balance.com for $140 USD.
