Sneakersnstuff Unveils New Tokyo Store, A Blend Of Tradition And Modernism

A decade ago, Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson opened up the first Sneakersnstuff location in Stockholm. Today, they’ve marked their territory in a seventh city, setting up shop in Tokyo – one of the original epicenters of sneaker culture. For their newest retail location, SNS once again employed the talents of Jenny Askenfors of Bofink Design Studio, infusing two distinct themes of tradition, exemplified by wooden surfaces and carved benches, and futurism, marked by curved furniture, throughout the space. It all works cohesively as a blend of Japanese aesthetic and Swedish and Scandinavian influence, bridging the cultural gaps via this finely constructed community and retail space. An SNS Cafe is also co-operated with Camelback, a highly acclaimed coffee and sandwich shop of the city.

SNS Tokyo will officially open its doors on Saturday, December 14th; to help celebrate the launch, they’ve teamed with Jordan Brand for three exclusive releases that can be discovered here.
