adidas Y-3 Unveils Their Latest Runner 4D In All Black

adidas Y-3, despite barely changing the model’s namesake, have been ushering in new updates to their take on the Runner 4D almost constantly, swapping the innovative sole unit forward and onwards across what is essentially the middle point between the technical and the retro-inspired. Though certainly not of the same futuristic breed as their Qasa from years back, the newest silhouette crafts certainly with years ahead in mind as its bulk panels in a styling far removed from the mainline. The bottom itself, however, is still piece-by-piece the same as any of the previous Consortium releases, bearing the typical bright green in contrast to the top half’s full black upper. Among hardshell molds almost armor-like in presentation, Primeknit lying as a solid backdrop, and luxe smooth leathers at key points, the kit’s branding is surprisingly minimal, only preferring lateral chainstitch of Yohji Yamamoto’s elegant signature. Grab a closer look at everything right here, and if you’re interested in picking up a pair for yourself, they come at a premium price tag of $600 USD for release on December 10th.
