Often drawing from some of the best silhouettes within the sneaker world and beyond, it’s not uncommon to see Japanese label Hender Scheme appear in headlines as designer Ryo Kashiwazaki made quite the name for himself with his take on the Air Jordan 4 and many an obscure and ever-popular classic. Leather works are his prized bread and butter and he continues his round of footwear homages with his newest collection entitled “DIVERSE;” among a few fan favorites and some inline designs, the young craftsmen is readied to produce his first ever take on the Air Force 1 Low, a release that’s surely been a long time coming since its high-top variation has been around for a few seasons. Everything from the perforated toe box to the bulky overall profile is all found right here, with leather or flat laces giving options between the sartorial and street. Materials are polished and refined in their natural finish, giving way to patina with months or even years of wear. Instead of a sneaker sole unit, though, the pair seems to wrapp at its sides with the same core fabrication while adding on a completely wood outsole. Grab a good look at the MIP-22 right here and find it rolling out to overseas stores on November 30th and stateside in mid December.
