Sneaker News Particularly for Jordan Brand, the stars of the sneaker game will align at the upcoming 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. There’s no question that the Jumpman has some series programming in the works for that span of time in February, with perhaps the biggest ticket item being the looming collaboration between the two Chicago stalwarts in the form of the Off-White Air Jordan 5. Seen here for the first time, Virgil Abloh’s take on the 1990 silhouette (which celebrates its 30th Anniversary next year) features a synthetic upper fully replacing the black suede with circular windows touching on the polka-dot trademark of the Off-White label. Even the fully-reflective tongue achieves some of that “rebuilt” look as the high-vis layer looks to be stitched onto the exterior of the tongue. Furthermore, this first look at the Off White Jordan 5 also suggests that the icy soles will arrive pre-yellowed for more of that thrifted look.
