Continuing to showcase its penchant for nodding to classical colorways found within the Jumpman’s retro lineage, Mars Blackmon’s Jordan 270 model is seen again turning towards the Air Jordan 5 to inspire its latest three-toned iteration. With the “Grape” and “Fire Red” color palettes now crossed off its list, this latest variation pulls design inspiration from the classic AJ 5 “Black Metallic”. The hybrid silhouette comes equipped with a full nubuck upper dressed in stark black, and mixes in hits of metallic grey line the Swoosh logos and a midsole molds that features speckled details that speak to the original model’s retro-styled spike accents. Furthermore, doses of fire red hits present on the Jumpman logos, and heels, followed by a translucent outsole finish to bring together its “Black Metallic” motif.
