adidas Originals Revives XENO With The Stan Smith

adidas Originals Revives XENO With The Stan Smith

Paving their way into the future without shedding once ounce of their core DNA, adidas has never quite let go of any of their archive designs, even bringing back some noteworthy models as of late while calling to others by way of retro colorways and small embellishments. Nothing of the subtle, however, their latest surprise is the once oft-used XENO reflective — which made pairs the likes of the EQT, ZX Flux, and Superstar more futuristic — though geared to make a much larger, more avant-garde splash with the help of Raf Simon’s favorite, the Stan Smith. Completely restructuring the minimal silhouette from the ground up, its uppers take on separated panels of the iridescent material, lighting up at almost all points except for its insect-like patterning across. Soles as well as tongues are blacked out to refrain from overexposure on flash while heel tabs dress up with pony hairs in connection to fashion luxury. Grab a detailed look at the pair here and find it rolling out to adidas.com in the near future.
