Elliot Santiago Paying homage to two of the galaxy’s most iconic figures in the Rebel Alliance, Star Wars and adidas commemorate the Millenium Falcon and its captain in Han Solo with this forthcoming iteration of the Ultra Boost 2019. Primeknit uppers take on a two-toned white and grey color scheme and feature cool blue hits applied to the tongues and heel molds alluding to the hyperdrive motion streaks shown when the disc-shaped spacecraft “jumps into the lightspeed” in attempt to escape enemies of the Sith Order. Midsoles are equipped with an etching of the spaceship itself applied in blueprint fashion – similar to the “X-Wing” Ultra Boosts – in addition to Hans Solo’s “Never tell me the odds” quote from the “Empire Strikes Back” stamped into the heels, and Rebel Alliance branded dubraes and lace tips to further emphasize its theme.
