adidas Originals Announces Prada Sneaker Collaboration (Updated)

adidas Originals Announces Prada Sneaker Collaboration (Updated)

Leaked earlier last month, adidas Originals is finally heading outside of its collaborative norm, forgoing obscure Japanese labels, streetwear stalwarts, and the like for a small taste of what’s it like on the higher end. With the scene dominated by only so few giants, the Three Stripes has enlisted the help of Prada, the technically-inspired outfit whose work has once again begun trending by way of Frank Ocean’s Met Gala attire and their constantly worn track pants. No smarter a choice, the collaboration, which was only officially announced today, is set to arrive soon with almost all details leaked save for what the silhouette is actually supposed to look like. However, to ease the wait and anticipation, expect a price tag of $350 USD and a color palette of Core White/Metallic Silver/Red all under a Sailing namesake. If you’re looking to grab your hands on this surprising partnership, find a sign up page at adidas.com/prada and keep it locked here for future word on release info and detailed imagery.

Updated November 8th, 2019: adidas Originals and Prada have revealed additional details regarding their collaboration. The first release from this partnership will release in December 2019 and will be entirely made in Italy. The Luna Rossa sailing shoe will be unveiled in 2020.

Updated November 25th, 2019: Prada and adidas have officially unveiled the Prada adidas Superstar shoes. It will release on December 4th.
