Footwear and storytelling have always gone hand-in-hand for Kyrie Irving as his signature sneakers traditionally carry meaningful statements displayed across his numerous colorways and renditions. And for his newly revealed Nike Kyrie 6, the effort to construct creative narratives remains the same, as the perennial All-Star has elected to create 11 distinct variations of his new signature all paying homage to cities around the world that he holds close to his heart. One of the versions included in this upcoming Pre-Heat collection, is this vibrant colorway representative of the city of Berlin. This rendition is constructed with punchy red hues applied to a majority of the silhouette, and contrasted with deep burgundy tones laid upon the mid-foot strap and neon pinks adorning the Healer’s Hand carved into the heels – a playful palette that potentially nods to the German-metropolis’ 90s era of lively nightlife. An iridescent vinyl that features Irving’s traditionally used All Seeing Eye graphic wraps the rear panels, followed by bold “Berlin” text hits branded onto the strap’s medial sides to round off its design. A detailed look is available here below, so take a closer look at expect these to drop overseas on November 11th.
