Nike Adds Plaid Patterns To The Air Force 1 Mid

Nike Adds Plaid Patterns To The Air Force 1 Mid

Most sneaker offerings from adidas, Nike, and other footwear players geared towards the colder, wetter days of the year have been outfitted with upgraded, heavier-duty outsoles, Gore-Texed-reinforced uppers, and breathable sock-liners. But not Nike’s Air Force 1 Mid ’07 “LV8,” quietly-released earlier this month. What the classic silhouette (despite the naysayers) lacks in updated technologies is made up in the Swoosh’s texture (sanded suede, corduroy), pattern (herringbone), and color (brown, noble red, tan) choices; the sneaker is reminiscent of a sweater Tom Hanks might have worn to prepare for his portrayal of the beloved Mr. Rogers in the upcoming A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood biopic. If you’re in the market for a pair of sneakers that epitomizes coziness, the Mid ’07 “LV8” is now available on Nike.com for the price of $115 USD (neighborhood trolley not included).
