Sean Wotherspoon Has A Corduroy-Covered ASICS Collaboration In The Works

Owed the title of one of the best Air Max collaborations in recent memory, Sean Wotherspoon and his vintage/consignment empire have gone to do big things in the fashion space itself; setting trends and not stalling one bit on his own collaborative endeavors, the entrepreneur-turned-designer is now trading in his Swoosh badge for one marked by the Tiger Stripes of Japan’s very own ASICS. Teased by the man himself on Instagram likely quite a few months ahead of their own release, the collaboration is a colorful and structural reinterpretation of the iconic GEL-Lyte III in what is most certainly one part of its anniversary celebrations. Details are sparse and close-ups are all that are given, but it’s possible we’ll be either seeing a mismatched set or two colorways inspired by OG palettes: these are rich with earth tones and wide wale cord with one swapping in and out of green shades topped with yellow accents and the next doing the same though with baby blues and sultry reds. Velcro backings are also apparent upon closer inspection, though instead of just the standard side logos being removable, it also adds the same treatment to the overlays. Grab a quick look here and keep it locked for better pictures and word on their official release.
