Despite arguably showing little love to the line-up’s previous iteration, Nike is moving on with LeBron James‘ eponymous line of silhouettes, landing on what is now the LeBron Ambassador XII and introducing it with a wealth of inspired colorways. Some bearing homage to heritage and others simple color pairings, the trio is diverse as each goes down its own individual school of thought.
The first, which pits white against blacks and intermingles red accents, is a more versatile piece of kit that harks to some of the most signature lifestyle tones on the market. Its mesh uppers are the most prominent with straps and midsoles breaking up with notable contrast adjacent and font at the toe — a connecting feature on all — adding on various bits of branding and “THE KING” monikers. Calling back to the famed ACG line, the second is a carbon copy of the iconic OG Mowabb complete with its bright orange and deep blues atop a base of earth tone in he aforementioned fabrication as well as an exclusive nubuck. Bearing a more material alignment though in the construction similar to the first, a camo rendition tags along, swapping out any neutral tones of those before it with its most standard patterns of brown and green.
