The adidas Stan Smith “Heart Stripe” Pack Is A Reflection Of Human Relationships

Arguably one of the greatest aspects about being a human is the fact that we have that ability to foster relationships. We build bonds with our families, friends, and coworkers, but of course, there’s always this lingering idea of finding our significant other -or as some people like to call it – “the one”. Especially in the world we live in today, where some appear to have found the ideal “couple goals” type relationship to the other side of the spectrum where weekly catch ups with your best friends involve all the latest news (good and bad) about the last experience you had via your recently downloaded dating app. And in an effort to reflect the emotional love roller coaster that our society endures on a daily basis, adidas is introducing their forthcoming releases that we’re dubbing the “Heart Stripe” Pack.

This forthcoming set will include two minimal variations of the classic Stan Smith model, allowing the thematics of its branding to convey its heartfelt message. The first pair swaps out its traditional Three Stripes with a majority of “x” notations, allowing the solo red heart placed on the largest stripe to represent a life’s worth of heartbreak before finally finding the perfect match. On the contrary, the second pair lines its stripes with a bevy of heart-shaped symbols, letting its singled-out black “x” mark represent someone who experiences a life filled with love, and undergoes that one unforgettable bad experience.
