The Nike Blue Ribbon Sports Running Collection Releases Tomorrow

The Nike Blue Ribbon Sports Running Collection Releases Tomorrow

Harking back to the brand’s humble beginnings, Nike is once again traveling back in time to the days of 1972 by celebrating their Blue Ribbon Sports origins with a pair of brand new footwear selections. Initially announced as a range of exclusive product as part of the Coast-to-Coast pop-up experiences this month, the Nike Blue Ribbon Sports Running Collection will be receiving a wider release to the general public. Featuring an appropriate combination of past and present, the collection features one of the more early silhouettes designed by Bill Bowerman in the Cortez ’72, as well as a more modern Swoosh runner with the Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2. Each pair arrives showcasing classic hues of orange and white, and displays heritage-inspired accents through “BRS” branding laid upon the insoles, in addition to ““1 of 3107” embellishments stamped on the heels as a nod to their first Blue Ribbon Sports store address at 3107 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica, CA. An official look at each pair is available here ahead, so expect these to drop tomorrow on Nike SNKRS with the Cortez priced at $100, and the Pegasus at $180.
