Elliot Santiago No stranger to utilizing their classic colorways to roll over to their newer installments, Nike is outfitting the Air Max 97 with a makeover pulled directly from the Air Max archives. The classic runner now turns to the Air Max 180 to usher in this brand new three-toned rendition reminiscent of the OG “Ultramarine” colorway. Mudguards present themselves in a similar ultramarine hue, followed by hits of solar red that fall upon a single overlay on the midfoot, heel stitchings, and towards the outsole’s forefoot. In addition, the traditional heel “Air Max” branding its now swapped out for a repeated Swoosh pattern that runs the length of the tab.
