Nike SNKRS Launches “Shared Stash”, Connecting Communities In Different Cities

The ever-evolving Nike SNKRS App created the SNKRS Stash release procedure to re-welcome the human experience of buying sneakers on the digital landscape. SNKRS Stash releases would only be available to those who were in a specific location, with proximity allowing access to purchase a select pair of shoes. This unique process is now connecting cities across state lines with a new “Shared Stash” procedure. The principle is roughly the same; those interested in purchasing the product in question would have to go to the secret location (revealed by the App), with access granted when the user taps “I’M HERE” on their screen. However, the second city in this “Shared” sequence will only get access once 100% of the stock is claimed by the previous city. For example, in this particular release, those in Boston will only get access once New York claims all the available pairs.

The first Shared Stash release is the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2 and Cortez ’72 “Blue Ribbon Sports” edition. A real-time countdown reveals exactly what’s left – and Boston will only have their inventory available once New York gets it down to 0%. See the screenshots ahead.
