Most people would associate sandals with summer and spring instead of fall, but some brave souls like to keep their feet partially exposed year-round, and Nike is certainly catering to those individuals with two autumn-ready makeups of the Air Max FF 720. Arriving in an old-school mix of maroon and light blue plus an army-style olive and bone, each pair features a strikingly stripped-back upper, keeping the toe closed while exposing the midfoot, heel, and ankle. Elastic bands over the top of the foot and around the heel plus a simple lacing system ensure a customizable fit, while suede construction keeps things luxe. Down below, the hefty midsole features three layers, with the strobel and outsole of an Air Force 1 sandwiched around a bulbous Air Max 720 cushioning unit for a pieced-together hybrid style. You’ll likely want to throw on a pair of thick wool socks with these joints — and dig deep into your wallet, as they retail for a handsome $225 USD — but if you’re feeling adventurous this season, you can expect them to release at the retailers listed below on September 28th.
