Known for their prep-infused, sailing-meets-street aesthetic and fierce commitment to sustainability, New York-based Noah is one of the most unique brands on the market today, and they’ve now joined forces with Vans for two new printed takes on the cult favorite Chukka MS as part of their FW 19 collection. Each pair boasts a mid-cut upper constructed of Scottish wool that foregoes a standard lacing system in favor of a stately silver buckle-and-eyelet getup. Combined with the duo of prints presented — one tartan plaid, one gingham — this makes for a hybrid look that falls somewhere in between sneaker, dress shoe, and boot, perfectly in line with Noah’s elegant yet inherently sporty brand ethos. Each is then completed with a black midsole and vulcanized gum outsole. Of course, Noah is no stranger to Vans collaborations, having last worked with the Cali footwear company on two Vans Sk8-Hi Decons and two Chukka MS in 2018, but this second effort takes their partnership in a bold new direction. Both pairs will release on the Noah webstore come September 12th, so enjoy a first look right here in the meantime.
