The Air Jordan 4 Gets Winterized For The Colder Season

The Air Jordan 4 Gets Winterized For The Colder Season

Winter’s snow, slush, and sleet can be hell for sneakerheads who love their Air Jordans, as the inclement climate is undoubtedly rough on any sneaker, let alone a classic like the Air Jordan 4. However, Jordan Brand is presenting a solution to the problem, as they’ve given the AJ4 a brand-new “Winter” makeover. Dressed in a bold blue color scheme with black and red accents, these 4s certainly call to mind memories of Eminem‘s ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Encore, but differentiate themselves substantially with their materials. The underlays and throat swap out plastic netting for a pockmarked synthetic material, while the tongue features a rubberized construction and the liner offers a wooly, shaggy fabric for extra warmth. Black wings and black midsole detailing finalizes the look. This new design will release on December 21st with a slightly hiked retail price of $200 USD to allot for its premium construction, so enjoy a first look right here in the meantime.
