KITH Debuts “Shark” Colorway In Upcoming New Balance 998 & 990v2 Collaborations

KITH Debuts “Shark” Colorway In Upcoming New Balance 998 & 990v2 Collaborations

New York-based retailer/lifestyle brand KITH is preparing to release their new FW19 collection in the coming weeks, and part of that expansive, extensive effort is two new footwear collaborations: a New Balance 998 and New Balance 990v2. One of the primary colors KITH frontman Ronnie Fieg has opted to use for the collection is an ultra-dark shade of navy known as “Shark,” so here the classic suede-and-mesh upper of each silhouette is dressed in the rich tone, with the overlays providing a slightly deeper hue than the base for a tonal contrast. Further detailing is then offered by pops of reflective material on the bottom of the throat, the heel, and the lateral/medial midfoot’s signature “N” logos, while each look is finalized by a white and grey ENCAP midsole for exemplary comfort. NB and KITH already have a long and rich collaborative history under their belt, so this dynamic duo will further the storied lineage when it hits KITH’s retail locations and their webstore at 11 AM EST on September 7th. Check out images of both pairs directly below, and when you’re done head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page to see what else is coming up in the next few weeks.
