Size? And Vans Continue Patchwork Series With The Bold Ni

Following up on their 2018 Style 36 “Patchwork” exclusive, size? is once again teaming up with Vans to introduce the third installment of their “Factory Floor” Pack dubbed the “Bold Ni Patchwork III”. Inspired by the premature days of the Anaheim-based skate-wear brand when they would allow customers to choose their own midsole graphics, laces, and materials, this collaboration gives a nod to the wasteful scraps that were left unused on their factory grounds. In continuation of that similar wayward construction, they pull no punches here by reimagining the low-top silhouette through a plethora of monochromatic materials and patterns from checkerboard prints, to dogtooth patterns, to camo, polka dots, denim, and suede sprawled across its upper in patch-like fashion. The bold side stripe takes shape in multiple forms including a pony hair and translucent style on the right foot, while a stark black denim and 3M reflective panel arrive on the left. Moving downward, the shoes provide an UltraCush sock liner for a cloud-like footbed and is finalized with a classic white midsole accented with a black toe cap. These will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes for $80 USD via the size? preview app and in size? stores on August 30th.
