The Stranger Things x Nike “Upside Down” Collection Releases Tomorrow

After two previous collections — one inspired by Hawkins High School and the other inspired by 4th of July festivities in small-town America — Stranger Things and Nike have readied their third collaborative effort for a release tomorrow, and it pulls its inspiration from a much more sinister place: the Upside Down. A key theme of the show is that things are not always as they seem, so these Stranger Things Nikes take that overarching leitmotif quite literally. The pack consists of a Nike Blazer, Nike Cortez, and Nike Tailwind, each of which features a soft tan fabric upper that may appear simple at first glance. However, that upper can easily be burned away to reveal a rich denim base layer, plus special Stranger Things branding on the heel. That’s not all though. If you want to explore further, there’s also special graphics on the insole, and a Russian transmission-inspired print directly under the insole in both English and Russian as well. Each pair comes equipped with special tissue paper/pins and retails for an even $110 USD. All three will pop up in the real world tomorrow, August 13th, so check out a store list for each below to see where you can secure your favorite style(s).
