Beijing’s 400ml Brings The Paper Tiger Tradition To The Reebok Instapump Fury

As the first Asian team to join the 3AM series, Reebok recruits the ever-rebellious and immensely talented graffiti collective 400ml to bring in their vandalistic aesthetics and Chinese culture to the Instapump Fury. The pair, loud in all its presentation, is one emblematic of the team itself, with the paper-cut tiger lying as a focal theme with which to grant good fortune to those who choose to wear them. Uppers are punchy though with neutral contrast as a black nylon base creates a jumping point for the main design; these are filled to the brim with saturated hues, lying in connection to East and West through a framing of their own artistic style. Subtle lotus flowers and matching motifs blend in throughout the deep reds, while more animalistic features seemingly turn the silhouette into the auspicious creature. White midsoles arrive with black speckling, toe caps stay a flat smooth leather, and tongue/rear tabs emblazon with Chinese characters throughout. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and keep an eye out for word on their official release soon.
