Where To Buy The Stranger Things x Nike Tailwind “Upside Down”

They often say “third time’s the charm,” and that just may be the case for the newest Stranger Things x Nike Tailwind collaboration. The classic runner-turned-lifestyle silhouette did indeed serve as a member of the last two Stranger Things Nike packs — appearing in white, red, and blue for the “OG Collection” and green/orange for the “Hawkins High School” collection — but its third show-themed “Upside Down” makeup just might be the most interesting yet. Just like the pack’s Nike Cortez and Nike Blazer, these Tailwinds feature an intentionally unrefined tonal sail fabric upper that can be removed via burning or ripping to reveal a dark blue denim-like base layer. This heaping helping of hidden detailing nods to the hidden-yet-ever present nature of the Upside Down, and provides one of the most unique styles we’ve seen all year long. The heel’s Nike badge can also be expunged to expose a Stranger Things logo, and a co-branded tag with no alterations necessary appears on the tongue. A sleek white midsole and outsole finalize the look. These Tailwinds will be available on August 13th for $110 USD, so check out a store list below to see what retailers will have stock.
