Skater Of The Year Tyshawn Jones Drops New Colorway Of His adidas Signature Shoe

Defending Thrasher Skater Of The Year Tyshawn Jones is one of the faces of modern-day street skating, thanks to his astounding repertoire of tricks, unflappable nature, and effortless cool. His signature adidas Skateboarding shoes are just as versatile as the man himself, combining a basketball-style design ethos with plenty of skate-specific details, and they’ve now appeared in a new black, white, and blue colorway. The 5/8 cut upper is built from a rugged black nubuck, while the main details are provided by a white Three Stripes graphic on the midfoot and a sporty light blue streak that runs across the textured heel piece and is bordered by a thin line of white trim. Classic flair is provided by a gold-stamped trefoil logo on the tongue, and Jones’s first name appears in similar fashion on the medial midfoot. The good looks don’t come at the expense of performance either, as the white EVA midsole provides necessary cushion against impact, the molded sockliner and insole offers tremendous board feel, and an abrasion-resistant toe holds true against any and all flip tricks.
