Up Close With The sacai x Nike Blazer “Greyscale”

Removed entirely of its color, Chitose Abe’s sacai x Nike Blazer Mid is geared to arrive in a “Greyscale” iteration matching that of the LDWaffles releasing likely around the same time. Accents and deviations are much less noticeable this time around, though the doubled is most difficult to obscure. Midsoles arrive in a plain white tone with various ornaments multiplying across its entire circumference; uppers follow the same with the additional overlays lined with either a black or grey shade. Comprised mostly of the former, the small notes of lighter hits poke through from underneath the eyestay as well as the profile swoosh while toe boxes are left almost entirely alone for a bit of extra contrast. Laces, intertwined from bottom to top, lead towards the yellow exposed foam tongue. Grab a look at the pair right here below and find it releasing later in Fall at select retailers and Nike.com.

Updated September 16th, 2019: According to retailer Dover Street Market, the sacai x Nike Blazer release has been postponed to October 10th.
