OBJ’s Latest Nike Cleats Inspired By His Famous Catch And His Astrological Sign

After the debut of his new lifestyle-geared Nike Air Max 720 OBJ in a rather unfortunately-named “Young King Of The Drip” colorway, Odell Beckham Jr is back with a fresh piece of signature on-field footwear: the Nike Football Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ. The white, red, bronze, and metallic gold cleat is immediately powerful, preening, and just pompus enough, much like the ultra-talented Browns wide receiver it was crafted for. However, there’s a compelling story that’s told here as well. The embroidered lines on the front nod to the out-n-up route Beckham ran to perfection before corraling the famous one-handed touchdown catch that propelled him to superstardom back in 2015. The scorpion symbols are a nod to his astrological sign — Scorpio — and his logo is embroidered on the toebox. A red Swoosh provides branding, while the metallic gold midsole/spikes add a finishing touch of OBJ’s signature flamboyant flair. These new cleats will release on Nike.com July 25th, and the NFL preseason kicks off in less than a month, so look for more special spikes from Odell and the Swoosh Brand soon.
