After mock-ups of the brand-new adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Magnet” recently appeared, we now have a full look at the newest model in the ever-popular adidas Yeezy line, and it presents an appealing amalgamation of styles both familiar and fresh. The main difference from previous Yeezy 700 releases is the upper’s base material. Gone is the normal athletic mesh, and arriving in its place is a tightly woven synthetic fabric. A standard combo of supple suede and luxurious leathers arrive on the overlays, and pops of high-vis reflective material are present towards the heel on both the lateral and medial sides as well. With its mix of grey, tan, and cream tones, Kanye West‘s latest doesn’t veer too far from his trademark earth-toned palette, but the chunky Boost-filled midsole does offer a pop of colorful flair with orange detailing present on its elongated oval accents. Although we’re over half a year into the life cycle of the newer adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2, the V1 has enjoyed continued popularity as well, and the “Magnet” should help keep that train rolling. They’re slated to release this September for $300 USD, so enjoy a first look directly below, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further info on a specific date of arrival as it’s available.
