Since debuting at the top of the year, Nike’s Air Max 720 has been staking its claim in the lifestyle market with a plethora of new colorways, and the latest to appear is this blend of platinum and yellow. The design effortlessly blends different shades of silver together, using a softer shade on the textured synthetic base, while applying a more-chromed out style on the abstract overlays — which contain a more traditional mesh in their plastic borders. Yellow is used sparingly, providing branding on the tongue, toebox, and midfoot, while a final dose of grey is served up by the bulbous Air Max cushioning unit and semi-translucent outsole. Speedy but not excessively technical, stylish but not overpowering, these Nike shoes offer an ideal casual look, and you can expect them to make an arrival on Nike.com/at select Swoosh Brand stockists soon, complete with a retail price of $180 USD.
