The Nike Air Max 97 Adds Iridescent Track Stripes

With summer in full swing, Nike has been rolling out crisp and clean new takes on some of their most classic lifestyle silhouettes, and one of the latest conferees to the celebration is a fresh Air Max 97 for the ladies with some unique details. The upper is based on a white mesh and leather blend for a sleek and stark look. However, it then breaks from the mold with iridescent silver swooping around the midfoot on one of its signature stripes, an embellishment that also appears on quarter’s small cut-out underlay and the tongue badge. This adds just enough flair to the otherwise-subtle silhouette, while a white EVA foam midsole, steel grey Air Max cushioning unit, and white outsole finalize the look.
