The Nike Air Max Plus Returns With A Mix Of Durable Materials

Black and yellow is an ever-popular Nike Sportswear color scheme, and now it’s making its way onto the Air Max Plus, just in time for summer’s sunniest months. Although both the color combo and the silhouette may be familiar to any sneaker lover, closer inspection reveals some interesting material differences. The black upper is constructed of a durable ripstop nylon, while the mudguard features a sturdy textured leather. The plastic overlays are dressed in a stark grey, while punches of bright yellow arrive on the midfoot Swoosh, tongue medallion, and heel badge. Down below, a white midsole with bold yellow accents on the Air Max units and midfoot shank ensure that the upper’s rugged materials don’t sacrifice any of the Plus’s inherent speed. A black outsole then completes the look. Enjoy a full set of official images directly below, and expect a release on Nike.com in the coming weeks with a standard MSRP of $160 USD.
