Sotheby’s Teams With Stadium Goods For The “Ultimate Sneaker Collection Auction”

The famed trophy case at Stadium Goods houses some of the most rare and revered sneakers that the world has ever known, and now the powerful purveyors of the world’s most limited footwear have teamed up with legendary auction house Sotheby’s for an “Ultimate Sneaker Collection Auction.” Offering an even 100 pairs of sneakers in multiple lots, the auction consists of everything from a complete set of Travis Scott‘s friends/family Air Jordan 4s to the iconic Nike Mag and several Kanye West-designed kicks as well — both adidas Yeezy and Nike. There’s also what’s considered the “crown jewel” of the compilation: an original hand-made Nike Moon Shoe from 1972 that’s expected to fetch a six-figure sum. Bidding is live now until July 23rd, and the entire collection is on display to the public at Sotheby’s New York gallery in the Upper West Side of Manhattan until then as well. We were able to preview the space and count down ten of the key items that are available, so check out a detailed video overview below, and head over to Sothebys.com if you’re looking to place a bid or two on some of the world’s rarest shoes.
