Since being introduced in a skin far different from its own, Beaverton is set to release an Air Max 98 quite simple overall in a pairing of just two strong color choices. Uppers, in their usual synthetic and molds, sit mostly in a black dye, hitting almost every accent — e.g. the piping, mudguards, mesh top lines, patent leather eye stays, etc. — in the ever-dark shade. Midsoles contrast quite greatly in their white hue, finished off by a faint blue air bubble, while much of the allure arrives sparingly across the crimson detailing that sit along the profile and toe box swoosh as well as the “AIR” typography found towards the heel.
