Nike’s affinity for luxury is certainly a well-documented one, with past toolings along many an icon donning snakeskin materials en-masse. Following in that same school of thought, though just a bit more subdued than the rest, the Air Max 90 comes complete with its expensive outfit on full display. Major uses of gray hues conversely stick to muted palettes along the mix of suede and nubuck while Volt green swooshes and soles completely destroy any semblance of a consistent tonal spectrum. Tanned leather-esque hits see to the ribbed eye stay component, matching the complimentary tint seen across the entire lining, while stealing no shine from the focal scales that push the various underlays and tongue into a realm ornate.
