Two 1995 Icons Clash In This Nike Air Max Uptempo Colorway

1995 was a fantastic year for Nike’s Air Max line, thanks to iconic releases like the Air Max Uptempo and the Air Max 95. Now, the two paradigms of the Swoosh Brand’s most popular cushioning technology have collided on this new Air Max Uptempo that takes on the AM95’s famous “Neon” colorway. Although the “Neon” combo of grey, black, and volt has been lovingly re-created, the amalgamation of styles runs deeper than a simple color palette. The materials are adjusted as well, with the upper’s top half featuring a thin mesh overlay for another direct nod to one of the Air Max 95’s signature accents. Neon hits grace the Swoosh, eyestays, and Air Max cushioning unit, while the remainder of the upper is dressed in signature grey tones and a black midsole finalizes the stylings. No matter if you’re nostalgic for ’95, are a lover of either silhouette, or can appreciate a pinpoint homage, these Nike shoes are sure to be right up your alley. They’re available now at EU retailers like Foot Asylum and will arrive stateside soon, so check out a detailed gallery of images below while you wait.
