Allen Iverson’s Reebok Answer V Is Returning In July

First released in 2001, the Reebok Answer 5 is one of the most-lauded models in Allen Iverson‘s signature line, and it’s set to return to market for the first time ever this July. Worn by the pugnacious point guard during the 2001-02 NBA season, the Answer V had more than a handful of memorable moments, as Iverson sported this exact white/red colorway for the 2002 All-Star game in Philadelphia and also rocked the silhouette in a classic commercial with Jadakiss. Featuring a 5/8 cut and DMX cushioning, the Answer V is geared towards speed and quickness, but sacrifices no quality in that pursuit thanks to a premium leather upper. Signature detailing then arrives via the large red lace shroud and nylon hook-and-loop fastener band for a custom fit. Iverson’s recognizable I3 logo is dispersed through, and a portrait of the man himself is printed on the insole to complete the look. You can expect these lovingly recreated classics to make their long-overdue comeback on July 1st, so check out a retailer list below to see what stores will have stock.
