Boasting a little bit of casual and a lot of skateboarding influence, the Nike Zoom Down Rock is one of two new Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouettes that serve as part of 2019’s Nike N7 collection. Hatfield worked with Black Eyed Peas member and longtime N7 advocate Taboo to ensure the sneaker would thrive no matter what was thrown at it, and the two equipped it with a plethora of special details as well. With a shape inspired by the lineage of Nike SB‘s long-running P-Rod line, the 5/8th cut pair of Nike shoes also offers a versatile style, thanks to its black suede upper, Zoom Air-equipped midsole, and translucent outsole. Accoutrements are then provided by a yellow/black print that appears on the cut-out swoosh and throat, special N7 branding on both the tongue and insole, and tonal debossed accents that add an extra touch of class on the toebox and heel. A vibrant print housed under the outsole completes the look. These Zoom Down Rocks are set to release on Nike.com June 21st for an even $100 USD, so enjoy a full set of official images below while you wait.
