The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Inside Out” In Black Drops In August

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Inside Out” In Black Drops In August

Nike has been flipping the script both literally and figuratively with their “Inside Out” releases this spring/summer, and the latest result of their beautifully backwards machinations is this blacked-out Air Force 1 Low. Substantially more subtle than past inverted Nike shoes like the Air Max 1 or precursory Air Force 1 makeups, this pair’s main details arrive via its combination of protruding/recessed upper panels and skewed Swoosh. Extra embroidery is present around most of the seams, and contrast is provided by a shaggy tan suede heel tab plus a visible white size tag on the tongue in place of the standard branded tag, which has been moved to the inside. Although the design masterminds at Beaverton are capable of nearly anything, they still haven’t figured out how to turn a midsole inside out yet, so here it’s presented in a clean and classic white that’s left untouched. These fascinating Forces will release on August 9th, so get an up-close look below while you wait.
