ALIFE And adidas Stock Their Imaginary Gift Shop With The Nizza Hi “Artist Proof”

Teaming up with one another for the second time atop the Nizza Hi, streetwear imprint ALIFE and adidas are evoking interest from a crowd of sophistication, mirroring the aesthetics of art museums in a package themed as “Artist Proof.” Its base is largely traditional to its debut back in 1975, opting for a base of white canvas accented by hits of boldfaced black typography, which spell out the pair’s focal feature. Marking each pair along rear lateral face with “Alife®/Shop Art Museum” in a fashion almost parodical, the outers stand as a walking billboard for an establishment that does not exist; rather, it aims to call to the New York’s label hand in the constantly evolving downtown culture in which they inhabit. Each pair will also be numbered up to 400, adding a spin of exclusivity, though an accompany tee is there for those who seek consolation. Grab a detailed peek at the collaborative release below and find it rolling out to the brand’s online store and Rivington location on June 20th; a further release will then go down in Paris and their Japanese online division on June 22nd.
