Air Jordan 4 “FIBA” Features International Flags On The Midfoot And Tongue

As the governing body of international basketball competition, FIBA plays a large role in truly making basketball a game without borders, and now that global ethos is serving as the inspiration for a brand-new Air Jordan 4. Dressed in red with dark navy accents, these Air Jordans also feature a tonal embossed print on the throat and quarter. If you look closely, you’ll notice that this textured collage features the flags of countries from the West all the way to the Far East, nodding to the game’s global appeal and FIBA’s worldwide reach. If there was any doubt left about the inspiration, the shoes then are completed by a “For The Love Of The Game” hit on the insole to lock in the look. With the 2019 Basketball World Cup set to kick off at the very end of August and run through the first half of September, these special AJ4s will likely release sometime this fall, so get a first look right here. When you’re done, check out our Jordan Release Dates page for more updates as they’re available, and stay tuned for further news on more FIBA-themed footwear as well.
